The Game just became reality: Ender's Game
Shaking, a tear slowly falls, hiting the already wet pillow. Why.... trembling. hands reach to turn the page.
Games.
They push people to the limit.
Brutally.
Forcing people, isolating one person from everyone else.
Insanity.
Beginning to doubt your own existance.
Fear.
Burns within you, in your very soul.
Dreams......Nightmares
Haunt your waking hours, hant you to the core.
Games, they aren't simulators anymore.
people die, they tricked the commander
A boy.
After all it was just a game.......
Reflecting on this book, Ender's Game. It sucks me in. The author releases no mercy to any of his characters. This is seen through Ender being put into difficult situations where he is abused and threatened. The author first allows Ender to have friends, but then he isolates him and lets older kids beat him up. Yet despite all of this Ender fights back with his intelligence and eventually becomes a leader whom they all wish to beat, to prove wrong. Therefore because Ender is thrown into these abusive situations I develop strong feelings toward him. It's like I want to scream at everyone and say, "how can you treat an eight year old child like this?" Then I will grab Ender and take him away from everything, where he can be happy and not be used like, a pawn.
So you can see why I like this book. The story grew into a love/hate relationship because at times I hated the author for putting Ender in terrible situations. So my feelings grew intense as I read, it became, addictive......Why? The reason is that I wanted to be reassured, to find the moment when Ender's life would all be fair and happy again. I also wanted to find that moment because the book was depressing to the point where I longed to find and read those happy moments (if there were any).
Eagerly I hungered for those words, to taste them, to see Ender......

Great blog Suzy! Yeah Ender's game is pretty addictive. Ender is such an amazing guy...boy, but he gets put into such hard situations you almost wish he weren't so amazing so he wouldn't have to deal with all of that junk. But then again I guess he grows from it and everything and overcomes in the end. (lol ENDer's game) Well anyways are you gonna read the next books in the series? You should. I haven't. Tell me if they're any good if you do.
